Kama’aina Deal: Polynesian Cultural Center Ohana Club

UPDATE (2024): You can find details of the Ohana Club program which is the current package of discounts available to Hawaii residents.

Note that the Ohana club is free to join and you’ll receive lifetime membership for signing up, including various offers and discounts (proof of Hawaii residency required – you’ll need to upload it to join the program).

Polynesian Cultural Center still offers the Kama’aina Annual Pass (as of 2023 the current price has gone up to $69.95) which gives you free admission for a year for yourself, plus the ability to pass on a discount to out of town guests and other benefits. The annual pass needs to be renewed annually.

Whatever admission you decide on, the PCC can be a great part of a North Shore road trip! ( see other Things to do in Honolulu)

Quick links for your Oahu Trip

  • For cheap flights, I use Skyscanner or Google Flights to check for the cheapest flights and best routing, and then always try to book Hawaiian Airlines whenever possible!
  • Although the Polynesian Cultural Center and the North Shore of Oahu can be a day trip from just about anywhere on island, to stay closest to PCC, you might want to consider hotels in Kahuku as another option.
  • My absolute favorite reason to drive to the north shore is to stop at Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck – the original location in Kahuku is my all-time fave. Go early, bring cash and hand wipes and order the garlic shrimp scampi (w/ hot sauce on the side) – prepare to get messy!
  • Although it’s possible to join a North Shore tour, or even reach the PCC by TheBus, the most convenient option will be renting a car and making it a road trip!
