OK I went back and starred my favorites… It’s hard to remember all of them but I think my top 5 overall (no particular order) would be The Paris Wife, 1Q84, Molokai, Beloved and The Moveable Feast collection of short stories. Will Write for Food was #1 for nonfiction – Diane Jacob’s workshop about food writing was what inspired me to start writing this blog. It’s a great resource. =)

I like Dreams of Joy a lot. I think shanghai girls is a prequel? I can’t remember now but I think I had that on my list to read too… Molokai was so interesting, I love historical fiction. His other one Honolulu is good too!
